The Bureau of Warehouses resides in the Plant Industry division of the Illinois Department of Agriculture. This agency currently licenses over 300 entities with over 700 grain warehouse and dealer facilities in the state. The bureau oversees the Grain Warehouse Act by promogating rules and regulation and administers the Illinois Grain Insurance Fund, Inc.
